UNICEF subcontracted Progress Inc. to design a mobile based monitoring system to measure the sustainability of model water supply schemes through its partner organization in two of the affected districts; Gorkha and Kavre. The system was designed to be used to capture the five major indicators pertaining to the SDG 5, and used initially in 13 water schemes across the two districts. The developed system could be used for potential replicability and scalability by the partners, government stakeholders or other relevant stakeholders.
