The study focused on fostering climate resilience in rural Nepal, particularly in the Terai region. Implemented by the Centre for Development and Disaster Management (CDM) and funded by Misereor, the project aimed to improve disaster-resilient livelihoods through practical and advocacy efforts. Established in the early 2000s, CDM Nepal is renowned for its disaster risk reduction and climate change adaptation initiatives, notably contributing to the 2015 Gorkha earthquake response.
